Huss Valley Guide: Rules, Roles and Where to Start

Huss Valley is a Roblox chase game published by the Huss Valley Official group, and this hub is the shortest route from "what is this thing everyone is playing" to winning rounds on purpose. Every claim below was checked against the live Roblox experience data and the public shop listings on October 5, 2026. Anything we could not confirm in the game itself is labeled as reported or unverified, because the experience description is just two words: "RUN!!"
What you are actually playing
The experience is a team version of tag on a flat, rectangular field with a start line at one end and a finish line at the other. At the start of a match, one player is picked at random as the Chaser. Everyone else is a Runner. Runners try to cross the field and touch the far line, then do it again, and again. They win if the whole team makes three crossings without anyone getting caught. The Chaser carries a knife; a single hit downs a Runner, and a Runner who is not saved switches sides and starts hunting former teammates in the next round. The Chaser wins by converting every Runner.
That conversion rule is what makes the game feel so different from round to round. Early crossings are loose and forgiving because one Chaser cannot cover a field full of people. A few rounds later there may be four or five Chasers fanned out across the middle, and the last Runners are threading gaps that close in real time.

Who this Huss Valley guide is for
If you just loaded in and got knifed in the first ten seconds, start with the rules walkthrough for the round structure and the running mechanics page for the movement system. Movement is the hidden skill gap: your avatar accelerates instead of snapping to full speed, and it coasts when you let go. Players who learn the lateral dash and the instant stop survive far longer than players who only hold W.
If you already understand the basics and want to stop being the first one caught, go to the Runner survival plan. It covers crossing timing, which lane to take, when to revive a downed teammate and when to leave them.
If you want to know what to buy, the wiki reference lists every ability, consumable, game pass and crate we could verify, and the coins guide explains the coin economy and the Robux packs.
The two currencies in one paragraph
Both teams earn Gems and Coins at the end of a match based on performance, and Runners can also grab Gems lying on the arena floor during a round. Gems buy permanent abilities. Coins buy single-use consumables, and you can bring only one consumable into a match at a time. The shop also sells both currencies for Robux through developer products, starting at 29 Robux for 100 Coins and 99 Robux for 50 Gems.
Abilities at a glance
Abilities are role-locked, so a Runner tool cannot be used while you are the Chaser and the other way around. Guide sites that tested the shop report these Gem prices; treat them as a snapshot because the developer has been adjusting the store almost daily.
- Cloak (Runner): invisible for 3 seconds. You can still be hit, and using an item or ability ends the cloak early. Reported at 1,000 Gems.
- Pocket Door (Runner): drops a temporary door that blocks the Chaser, reported to last 6 seconds. Reported at 400 Gems.
- Emergency Airhorn (Runner): a short-range blast that knocks a nearby Chaser backward. Reported at 1,000 Gems.
- Rufus's Leash (Chaser): throws a leash straight ahead that can pull a Runner in, reported range up to 6 studs. Reported at 1,200 Gems.
- Big Dagger (Chaser): doubles melee reach for your next hit within a 5-second window. Reported at 900 Gems.
- Rocket Shoes (Chaser): a dash in your movement or camera direction even from a standstill. Reported at 850 Gems.
The Robux product list also contains Inflatable Decoy and Bowling Ball abilities, which most written guides do not mention yet. We list them as present in the store data but unconfirmed in play.

Huss Valley in numbers
When we checked the live Roblox data, the game had about 61,500 people playing at once, more than 20.6 million visits and roughly 57,000 favorites. Votes stood at about 46,800 up and 5,100 down, which works out to around 90 percent positive. Servers hold up to 30 players. The universe was created on August 31, 2026, and third-party trackers show it climbing to the top of the Up-and-Coming and Top Trending charts in early October, with a five-day peak near 120,000 concurrent players. The developer does not allow private servers, so every match is public. More detail lives on the Roblox fact sheet.
Watch out for look-alike games
The name comes from a TikTok meme, so several unrelated Roblox games use it. A game called "Escape" plus the same two words is a separate exploration title by a different group, with its own enemies, bosses and codes. A "Survive In" version is another separate experience. There is also a smaller place simply titled "Huss Valley" by a different creator that publishes codes in its description. Codes and walkthroughs written for those games do not apply here, which is why our codes page is blunt about what is confirmed.
Before you trust any tip, check that the game you are playing is published by Huss Valley Official and that its description reads "RUN!!".
The meme behind the name
The game borrows its identity from a July 2026 meme about a fictional town where something is always chasing you. The clips usually show comedy creator Daniel LaBelle sprinting from people in costumes, and "huss" imitates the heavy panting of someone running for their life. If you landed here from TikTok rather than Roblox, read the explainer, the slang meaning and the origin timeline for the full story, plus the Folk Valley comparison if you keep seeing the two names together.
A first-session plan
- Join a server and play two or three rounds as a Runner without buying anything. Watch how the Chaser angles toward groups.
- Practice the sideways dash: hold W, press A or D, then tap Space. Then add the instant stop on Alt.
- Grab floor Gems only when no Chaser is within a few strides of you.
- Spend your first Gems on one Runner ability that fixes your most common death. Pocket Door is the cheapest reported option; Cloak is the strongest escape.
- When you become the Chaser, aim where Runners are going, not where they are, and push into crowds.
Keeping this Huss Valley guide honest
The store data shows new products appearing on September 22, September 30, October 2, October 3 and October 5, so prices, abilities and events move quickly. A tracker listed a "mid week admin event" for October 6, 2026, 4:00 to 5:00 PM Pacific time, which is 7:00 to 8:00 AM on October 7 in China Standard Time; we could not confirm what it contains. When a page here depends on a number that may change, it says so and tells you where to look in the game. Start with the rules page, learn the movement, and the rest of Huss Valley gets a lot less chaotic.
